Voting
Do I need an account or an app to vote?
No. There’s no sign-up and no password. You’ll do a quick verification through Facebook so we know each vote is a real, unique person — that’s it. We never post anything, message anyone, or access your personal info. It simply keeps the contest fair.
How often can I vote?
You get one free vote every day — so choose your dog carefully! A fresh free vote unlocks at midnight Eastern Time, so come back tomorrow and vote again.
Can I vote for more than one dog?
Your free vote goes to one dog per day — but you can back a different dog tomorrow, and the next day. If you want to support several dogs at once, you can add extra votes for as many dogs as you like with a donation.
Why do I have to verify with Facebook?
It’s the fairest way to confirm one vote per person and keep out bots and duplicate votes. We only use it to check that you’re a real, unique voter — we don’t post, message, or pull any of your data.
Paid votes & the cause
What are “paid votes”?
They’re completely optional. If you want to give your favorite pup an extra boost, you can donate to add votes. Your free daily vote is always free — paid votes are just a way to do a little more.
Where does the money go?
Every purchase is a donation, and a portion supports our charity partner, Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando — a nonprofit caring for thousands of pets. You can read exactly how this works in the official rules.
Is payment secure?
Yes. Checkout is handled securely by Stripe, and your receipt is emailed to you right away. No account required.
Are paid votes refundable or tax-deductible?
Vote purchases are donations and are non-refundable. Because they’re made to Voff Haus (which then makes the charitable contribution), they’re not tax-deductible. Full details are in the rules.

How do I enter my dog?
Entries for this season are closed for now — keep an eye on our updates for the next round.
Can I edit my entry or change the photo?
Yes. Use the private link we email you — no login needed — to update your photo or details anytime. Picked a blurry photo? Just swap it for one that shows off that face.
When does voting open?
There’s no run in progress right now. You can see how the last one finished in the record book, and we announce the next one in updates before entries open.
Winning
How is the winner chosen?
By public vote. The exact format for the next run — the rounds, how many dogs go through and how the votes are counted — is confirmed when entries open and set out in full in the official rules. We announce it in updates first. You can see how the last run worked in the record book.
What does the winner get?
A cash prize, the spotlight as the face of Voff Haus for the season ahead, and a professional photoshoot. The prize for the next run is announced when entries open — it is confirmed then, not carried over, so we would rather not put a figure on it here. What past winners took home is in the record book.

Yes. The contest is run by Voff Haus, all payments are processed by Stripe, and the complete official rules are published right here on the site.
